Healthy Cooking Days and Cooking with Teens:

Healthy Cooking Workshops: 3.5 hour opportunities for you and a small group of like-minded to come together, learn about the nutrients in foods as you prepare new recipes then sit down to enjoy a meal together.  Participants come to celebrate birthdays or anniversaries or simply for a day out with friends.  Or clients who are finding it difficult changing diets and are looking for delicious healthier cooking options, or wanting their family to join in a cooking day so they get the necessary support with their own dietary changes.

The w’shops can be about foods and nutrients for certain health conditions – eg. diabetes, heart disease, weight loss, post cancer diets.  Or they can revolve around foods you don’t normally use but would like to try because you’ve heard they are ‘healthy’.  Everyone prepares and cooks together, this isn’t a cooking demo by me. alone!

The recipes are usually based on no wheat, dairy or sugar and include c 4-6 recipes, with each recipe explaining the health benefits of the main ingredients.
The day includes a lunch of all the dishes we’ve prepared [usually with left-overs, so please bring containers].

The cost for 3 hours including a folder of our recipes, a banquet meal (and doggy-bags for any leftovers) is £70pp, based on a min of 3 participants.
The cost for a couple is £120;

Cooking themes : Cooking with Pulses, Moroccan feast, Healthy Take on Thai, Fish for Those Who Don’t, Vegetarian Feast, Salad Days.

Cooking with Teens:

2- 2.5 hours in the kitchen then a meal after!  Either on a weekend or your child/teen’s next Half term school break

A cooking session to cover 3-5 recipes (depending on the speed of the participants!) over about 2 hours.  Easy chat about the health benefits of the food – and some delicious, easy recipes to cook, eat and take home.

The cost is £35.00 for a min. of 4 participants;  or a 1:1 session is £50
