How can Nutritional therapy help you?
I think I always knew that certain foods had an impact on my health. It just took me a while to figure out which ones, and then a while longer to accept it.
Back in the day, it was considered fussy rather than perceptive to stay away from foods that you thought weren’t your friends. It has only been relatively recent that global perceptions have shifted, with people now understanding that food can indeed be medicine – or they can cause mayhem!
The combination of my own personal health experience, plus the growing global knowledge that food could affect physical and mental well-being, was the double spark that eventually led me to study nutritional therapy.
Little did I know what a vast and astonishing world these studies would open to me. Not just diet, nutrients and lifestyle changes, but the uniqueness of our biochemistries, the value of functional testing, the impact of environmental toxins and the power of our words and thoughts.
Fast forward to the present and you can find me based in Dorset, working from my home clinic or virtually, via zoom or what’s app. I also work from Kefalonia in Greece where I offer online consultations.
My belief and commitment to nutritional therapy gets stronger every year. More and more research studies are discovering amazing nuggets of information about our bodies, the food we eat and how to improve our health.
My aim in clinic is to help you feel better by using this knowledge and the experience I’ve gained – and continue to gain. When I work with you, I’m working as a team. I’m trying to help you put together the puzzle pieces that will alleviate symptoms, improve your sense of wellness, and help you take your health into your own hands.
I look forward to working with you!
